Vernon Wong ( Edited From Spring)
My name is Vernon Wong. I was born in Hayward and moved to San Mateo when I was still a toddler. I go to Aragon High School and I am now a senior. I enjoy playing basketball and any sport in general except for tennis. I was inspired to take photos when I was a Sophomore in High School. I saw all my peers and friends holing Nikons and Cannons snapping away. At first it looked so easy and simple, I thought even a baby could take a good photo. When I used my first Cannon, I thought it would be simple and just snapped away. As I looked back at my photos, they were all blurry and dark. At that point I began to take it more seriously. I realized that photography is an art, not just a simple task that anyone can do.I plan to go to community college and major in economics and eventually transfer to a 4 year UC where i can further myself in my major.
Me as a Well Rounded Person
My favorite subject in school is history, I just love looking at pictures of the past since i love to study history. I never wrote any papers that i enjoyed, i feel that i my self am a visual learner not a reader type. I tend not to volunteer because I see no capital benefit for me, I know it sounds shady, but it is who I am. I am a well rounded person since i have a good GPA :), and I am active in sports and other things. I also love to read and play video games like all other boys. The only art work I want to master is photography.

I have not done any volenteer work , I do not have any pictures of me working in a volenteer space.

Basketball is the only real extracurricualr activity that I do because i love it, its fun and it is healthy. It was really the only sport that made me skinny since i was a bit on the large side at first. i dont really have any pictures :(.
